- Organization (public safety agency / department)
- Organization Email (personal email providers are not accepted)
- Organization Phone Number
- Mailing Address
- Consent to be contacted with ordering details
We do not store cookies for tracking or advertising. We use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted bot-protection mechanism (ALTCHA) that runs entirely client- and server-side without third-party trackers.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used solely for the purpose of communicating with you regarding our products, services, and launch updates. We may use your data to:
- Send technical briefings, product announcements, and pre-launch updates about DFR.aero.
- Verify your eligibility for early access programs, including NDAA / Blue UAS related screenings where applicable.
- Determine shipping or compliance requirements based on your country and address.
- Improve our website and user experience.
4. Data Sharing & Security
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We store data in our CRM system (Odoo, hosted by Carto Canada) under appropriate data-processing terms. Access to your data is restricted to authorized Obsidian Aerospace Corp. personnel on a need-to-know basis. Data in transit is protected with TLS encryption.
5. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or until you ask us to delete it. You may at any time request to:
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Delete your information from our records.
- Unsubscribe from any communications.

6. International Visitors
DFR.aero is currently marketed in the United States and Canada. By submitting your information from outside these jurisdictions, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in accordance with this policy.
7. EU / UK Visitors (GDPR & UK GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR apply to our processing of your personal data. Our lawful bases are:
- Consent — when you submit our registration form opting in to updates about DFR.aero.
- Legitimate interests — communicating with public-safety agencies who have expressed interest in our products, and securing our site against abuse.
- Legal obligations — export-control, NDAA / Blue UAS, and sanctions screening where applicable.
In addition to the rights listed in Section 5, EU / UK / Swiss residents have the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, the right to restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority (e.g. the UK ICO or a national EU Data Protection Authority).
Your data may be transferred to and processed in Canada, where our CRM (Odoo, hosted by Carto Canada) is operated. Canada is recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection under the GDPR, so no additional transfer mechanism is required.
